Caramel(View Full Screen)
  • 1/4 Sup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 Cup + 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 2 Tablespoons Margarine
    Mix together all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until softball stage. Remove from head and pour over popcorn or apples.
Soft Ball Stage: Take small amount of carmel and place in cold water. Roll caramel between fingers and feel for it to be a soft ball. You can also make hard caramel or extremely soft depending on what youre doing by the hardness it is when rolled between your fingers. The longer it sits over heat, the harder it gets.

Microwave Apple Crisp(View Full Screen)
  • 4 Large Baking Apples
  • 4 Graham Cracker Squares
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Sup Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Margarin
    1. Peel, core and slice apples. Pleace in glass baking dish.
2. Crush graham crackers with a rolling pin.
3. Melt margarine in a glass measuring cup in a microwave for about 15 seconds with paper towel over top to prevent splatters.
4. Add margarine to crumb mixture and mix well. Spoon over the apples.
5. Microwave on high 1-=12 minutes or until apples are tender. Turn after 6 minutes (If you don't have a turn table).
6. Let stand until slightly cooled.

Scone Dough(View Full Screen)
  • 2/3 Cup Warm Water
  • 2 1/4 Teaspoons Yeast
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg, Beaten
    1. Turn oven to 150 or the lowest temperature setting.
2. combine water and yeast. Mix with a wooden spoon until yeast is dissolved.
3. Add sugar, egg and oil. Mix by hand.
4. Add salt. Add flour using dough hook. Dough should be soft, but not sticky.
5. Knead about 8 minutes. Adjust flour if necessary.
6. Turn off oven.
7. Kee[ dough in bowl, cover with a towel and place in thw warm oven to rise.
8. Let rise 15-20 minutes.
9. Fill frying pan with about 1/2 inch of oil. Heat at medium to medium high.
10. Check oil temperature ith a small piece of dough. Adjust temperature if necessary.
11. Shape dough and fry until golden brown.

Chicken Roll Ups(View Full Screen)
  • 1 Can Crescent Rolls
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 Cup Cooked Chicken, Shredded
  • 2 Tablespoon Margarine
  • Dash of Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Green Onions, Sliced
    1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Mix all cream cheese (can soften in the microwave), chicken, margarine, salt and green onions.
3 Unroll rolls andput a large spoonful of filling in each roll and roll-up.
4. Place on a greased pan and bake 8-12 minutes until brown. Serve with sauce.

Cream Of Potato Soup(View Full Screen)
  • 2 Cups Mashed Potatoe
  • 1 Cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon Margarine
  • 2 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Salt
  • Dash of Pepper
  • 1 Cup Milk
    1. Prepare mashed potatoes.
2. In pot, melt margarine
3. Stir in flour, salt and pepper into margarine
4. Add milk all at once and cook, stirring until thick and bubbly. Cook 1 minute more. This is white sauce.
5. Stire potatoes and broth into white sauce.
6. Cook until heated completely, stirring constantly.
7. Garnish with chopped onion, grated cheese, cooked bacon and a bit of sour cream.
